🔥 “Adventure With the Holy Spirit: A Simple Roadmap Through Acts”
A Fun and Easy Guide to the Book of Acts (NKJV)
🌬️🔥 1. Jesus Gives the Mission (Acts 1)
Before returning to Heaven, Jesus tells His disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit. They ask if the Kingdom will be restored to Israel — which shows the plan is still focused there.
But Jesus tells them the message will soon go far beyond Jerusalem.
Acts is the bridge from Israel… to the world.
🔥🌍 2. The Spirit Falls in Power (Acts 2)
Suddenly the Holy Spirit arrives like a mighty rushing wind!Tongues of fire appear.People speak languages they never learned.A huge crowd of Jews gathers.
Peter preaches with power and thousands believe.
It’s a supernatural moment rooted in God’s promises to Israel — yet the spark that will send the Gospel to all nations has just been lit.
🤝💛 3. A Beautiful Community Forms (Acts 2–7)
The believers live in unity. They share everything.Miracles happen daily.God adds to their number every day.
But many in Israel’s leadership refuse the message.Stephen preaches boldly and becomes the first martyr — a heartbreaking turning point.
Persecution scatters the believers, and the message begins moving outward.
⚡🌟 4. Saul Meets the Risen Jesus (Acts 8–9)
Saul hunts believers…Until a blazing light knocks him to the ground.
Jesus speaks to him — directly.
This encounter transforms Saul into Paul, God’s chosen instrument to carry the message far beyond Israel.
Paul doesn’t learn from the original apostles. He receives years of direct revelation from the Incarnate Lord Himself.
God is equipping him for a mission that will change the world.
🕊️5. Peter’s Surprise Visit (Acts 10–11)
Peter sees a vision of animals and refuses to eat them.He argues with the Lord.He is shocked when God sends him to a Gentile’s home — Cornelius.
But when the Holy Spirit falls on that household, Peter finally understands:
God is opening the door to everyone.
Still, this new direction is uncomfortable for many Jewish believers. But God is gently expanding their understanding.
The Gospel is no longer for one nation — it’s for all nations.
🚀🔥 6. Paul Steps Into His Calling (Acts 13–14)
The Holy Spirit says,
“Separate to Me Barnabas and Saul…”
Now the Gospel spreads like wildfire:
Miracles
City-wide revivals
Opposition
New believers
Churches formed
Teachings from the Lord revealed
While the apostles in Jerusalem remain focused on Israel, Paul is sent far beyond their borders.
Not division — just God using different servants to reach different people, all under one Lord.
Paul carries a message Christ personally entrusted to him — a message meant for the whole Body of Christ.
🌍💥 7. The Gospel Travels Across Continents (Acts 15–20)
Paul’s journeys take him everywhere:
Antioch
Thessalonica
Philippi
Corinth
Ephesus
He teaches faith, grace, unity, and the deep mysteries Christ revealed to him.
The Gospel is no longer centered in Jerusalem — now it echoes across nations, cultures, and continents.
✨ Acts Shows the Lord Using his Chosen Instrument Paul.
In this book, the Lord, Yahweh, uses Paul, to carry the message of Christ to everyone:
Jews
Gentiles
Barbarians
Anyone who will believe
Even the Jews in Israel needed this message — because the apostles before had preached the Kingdom, but the message of Christ in you, the hope of glory came directly through Paul’s instruction from the Lord.
Through Paul, God widens salvation’s reach — revealing a message meant for the entire world.
⚓🐍🔥 8. Storms, Snakes, and Strength (Acts 21–28)
Paul is arrested. He survives a violent storm. He survives a shipwreck.A snake bites him — but he lives. He preaches to governors, kings, soldiers, and strangers. He heals the sick on Malta. He finally reaches Rome and preaches with boldness.
Israel largely refuses to believe, but the message continues — unstoppable.
The Gospel is now reaching the ends of the earth.
